worthless trinket, October 19, 2004 This review is from: Zenith Academy Quantieme Perpetuel Men's Automatic Watch 18-1260-4003-01-C505 (Watch) I bought this watch last year for my nephew who is studying at Oxford University, London. To my disappointment, my nephew wrote me an infuriated letter not but a month later of how dreadful he found the watch to be. Upon hearing such news, i had no choice but to fly into London on the next available Concord jetliner. That night, over roasted duck, caviar, and a bottle of 1982 Chateau Margaux, he and I examined his watch. At first impression, i must say the watch is rather ordinary, something to be worn by a beggar even. Furthermore, the leather band was atrocious. Not only was it poorly crafted, but it was of a very rough texture. Surely it is made of a low grade alligator skin. In fact, if i didn't know any better, I would say it wasn't even aligator skin at all, but rather some sort of snake skin, which is of course a far a inferior skin.
